Grobman went 4 for 4 in the opener with four runs batted in for the Bulldogs, who took game one 8-0 in the Ivy League opener for both teams. The Quakers won 3-0 in game two.
Yale jumped out with three runs in the first inning of game one. Grobman opened the scoring with a single to right to score Shelby Kennedy.
Jerpbak drew a bases loaded walk to score Annie Tarte. Katire Tews lifted a sac fly to left to give Yale a 3-0 lead after one inning.
Grobman had a two-run single in the second to score Kennedy and Tarte. Jerpbak added another in the fourth to score Tarte and Olivia Vinyard, who had two hits on the day.
In the circle, Jerpbak struck out three, walked one in the complete-game performance and improved to 2-3 on the season.
In game two, Penn's Tabitha Dyer went the distance in a complete-game shutout and improved to 4-0 on the year.
The two teams will square off for one more game tomorrow at 12:30 p.m.
