KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Kate Meserve's RBI single capped a three-run rally in the top of the eighth inning as Yale edged George Washington 7-6 at the Rebel Games. The Bulldogs also lost to Southeast Missouri State 3-0 and fell to Tennessee-Martin 3-1 in the completion of yesterday's suspended game.

Yale (3-9) jumped out to a 2-0 lead against George Washington in the second. Kristy Kwiatkowski doubled and scored on Meserve's two-out single. After Rachel Kelley singled and Libby Peters walked, freshman Aracelis Torres drove home the second run with an infield single.

Chelsea Kanyer's RBI single in the fifth tied it at 3-3.

The Colonials regained the lead in the sixth on Katy Harrigan's RBI ground out. Linnenbank, though, avoided further damage by striking out Catherine Belanger and Elana Meyers with runners on second and third.
