Before Yale: In high school played varsity squash and varsity golf for 4 years, and was captain of both teams senior year. She competed 3 times for the US against Canada in "The Battle of the Border." On her squash team she received most-improved and Boast Awards, and was a FAA champ (4 years), NE champ (4 years), and National Champ (2 years and 1 runner-up). As a member of her high school golf team, she was 4 years FAA all-league , 3 years New England individual top 10, FAA champs (4 years) and New England champs (4 years).

Off the court: In high school, Jessica was a member of the BCA (Breast cancer alliance), coding, and Brunswick computer-science clubs; worked on her school's literary art magazine Daedalus and founded the Squash Haven club. Enjoys volunteering at city-squash in the Bronx, reading maps, watching Spanish movies and tv shows, cooking, digital design, and watching sports. Her older brother is a member of the Georgetown squash team, and her twin brother is a member of the UPenn squash team.

Why Yale?  "Playing many squash tournaments at Payne Whitney as a Junior, I was always amazed by Yale's history and constant success as a program. More importantly, however, I was drawn by the motivation of its students and athletes, while being incredibly welcoming and friendly at the same time."
