Feb. 9, 2008

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Yale polished off the late-season rust on Saturday in Providence, dominating Brown, 8-1. Seven of the eight Bulldog wins came in three games, providing the team with some momentum heading into its final regular-season match of the season on Wednesday against Harvard.

No. 4 Alia Aziz, No. 6 Jessica Balderston, and No. 8 Tara Wadhwa all battled through tough 10-8 games, but still swept their opponents.

No. 5 Caroline Reigeluth and No. 9 Elisabeth Hill picked up the final two wins for Yale. Reigeluth dominated Sophie Scherl, 3-0 (9-0, 9-1, 9-0), and Hill took care of Carolyn Tilney, 3-1 (9-5, 9-3, 7-9, 9-4).
