NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Bulldogs finished up their 2007-2008 regular season in style, notching a solid 6-3 win over Harvard Wednesday evening at the Brady Squash Center. Yale finishes 11-2 (4-2 Ivy), good for third place in the Ancient Eight.

Yale's top three made quick work of their Crimson foes. No. 1 Miranda Ranieri defeated June Tiong, 3-1 (9-5, 4-9, 9-4, 9-5), No. 2 Logan Greer downed Alisha Mashruwala, 3-1 (9-3, 9-1, 2-9, 9-0), and No. 3 Sarah Toomey handled Katherine O'Donnell, 3-1 (9-7, 7-9, 9-4, 9-0).

The overall match hinged on two extremely competitive contests that could have gone either way. No. 9 Elisabeth Hill battled Sandra Mumanachit in an epic match, eventually pulling out a win, 3-2 (0-9, 10-8, 9-4, 7-9, 9-7). No. 6 Jessica Balderston won her match against Alexandra Zindman in three games, but had to battle her opponent in 10-8, 9-6, 10-8 wins.

No. 4 Alia Aziz picked up the final win for the Bulldogs, over Johanna Snyder, 3-2 (6-9, 10-8, 9-2, 3-9, 9-4).

With the win, the Bulldogs will likely pick up the No. 3 seed for next week's Howe Cup in Princeton, pending results from this weekend.
