HYP Meet Highlights 2018-2019 Schedule

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – In 2018-2019, the Yale women's swimming and diving team will aim to complete its third consecutive undefeated regular season. The team will be coached by Robert J.H. Kiphuth Head Coach of Men's and Women's Swimming Diving Jim Henry and head diving coach Chris Bergère. Associate head coach Kyle Schack will be returning for his second year with the team, and assistant coach Kevin Norman will be returning for his ninth season. The four coaches will be joined by the team's newest assistant coach, Molly Chamberlain.

Following two October scrimmages, the Bulldogs will begin the season with a busy weekend in early November. The team will travel to Brown for the season opener on Nov. 2, and will then face MIT the next day in Boston, Mass. The Bulldogs will host their first home meet on Nov. 9 against Columbia.

For the second consecutive season, the Bulldogs will compete at the Ohio State Invitational. The event will take place Nov. 15-18. The team will face Southern Connecticut on Dec. 6, swimming at a rare away meet in New Haven, Conn.

Yale will open the new year with a dual meet against Dartmouth and Penn in Philadelphia, Pa. The team will then return to Yale on Jan. 12 for the annual "Senior Meet," swimming against Seton Hall, followed by a trip to Ithaca, N.Y., to take on Cornell. The team will close the regular on Feb. 2-3 with the annual "HYP" meet, a dual meet against Harvard and Princeton in Cambridge, Mass.

The Ivy League Championships will take place on Feb. 20-23 in Princeton, N.J. After finishing in second place at the 2018 Championships, the Bulldogs will be looking to recapture the Ivy League title that they previously secured in 2017.
