Outside of the pool, Jennifer was an active member of the non-profit organization, TreePeople, where she has been involved in many planting and tree care projects in Downtown Los Angeles. She also was a Girl Scout from the age of six, and received the Gold Award, the Girl Scouts' highest honor, in her senior year of high school.

In her abundant free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, writing, and traveling around the world.

Jennifer chose to attend Yale because of "its stellar academic offerings and it's active student body."
