Bulldogs Finish 10th at ECACs

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - At the end of the third and final day of the ECAC Championships hosted at Harvard's Blodgett Pool, the Yale women's swimming and diving team finished tenth overall with 158 points, maintaing their ranking from Saturday. Harvard won the meet with a total of 648 points.

Yale's highest finish on Sunday came in the 400 yard freestyle relay. The team of Katie French, Tory Nelson, Emma Chapman and Nicole Swaney finished fifth with a time of 3:39.94. Swaney swam the last 100 yards in 53.22 to overtake Vermont, who finished in sixth place.

Swaney and Chapman also competed in consolation finals for individual events during Sunday evening's session. Chapman finished sixth in the consolation final of the 200 yard backstroke in a time of 2:14.43 and Swaney came seventh in the consolation final of the 100 yard freestyle in 54.09.
