No. 40 Yale Defeats Columbia, Advances to Semis in ECAC Tournament

PRINCETON, N.J. - The No. 40 Yale Bulldogs defeated the Columbia Lions Friday morning in the opening round of the ECAC Team Tournament. The Bulldogs were seeded No. 2 to Columbia's No. 7 spot. The Bulldogs record improves to 7-2 with this win, and they hand Columbia its first defeat of the spring season.

The Bulldogs will play again on Saturday at 3p.m. against Harvard, who has been seeded No. 3, in the semifinals. Harvard defeated Cornell 6-1 on Friday morning.
