Yale Women's Tennis Goes 5-4 on Day Two of Wildcat Fall Duals

Sullivan Wins at No. 2 

EVANSTON, Ill. —The Yale women's tennis team eked out a winning record Saturday on the second day of Northwestern's Wildcat Fall Duals. The Bulldogs saw wins from senior captain Annie Sullivan at No. 2, freshman Madeleine Hamilton at No. 3, junior Hanna Yu at No. 4, sophomore Courtney Amos at No. 6 and freshman Sherry Li, who also played in the No. 6 slot. 

Sophomore Ree Ree Li did double duty for the Bulldogs, taking on Northwestern's Veronica Corning (ranked No. 111 nationally) and DePaul's Patricia Fargas, both at the No. 1 position. Li took both matches to three sets but came up short on both counts. 

The Bulldogs went 4-2 against DePaul opponents and 1-2 against Northwestern opponents on the day.

Yale will be back in action Sunday for the final day of the Wildcat Fall Duals. They face Oklahoma at 9:00 a.m. local time.
