HANOVER, N.H. —Friday the No. 49-ranked Yale women's tennis team (12-8, 4-1 Ivy) extended its streak to four with a 5-2 win over Dartmouth. The Bulldogs are now tied for second in the Ivy League with two matches remaining.

After opening Ivy play with three straight doubles wins, the Bulldogs dropped the doubles point for the second match in a row Friday. Sophomore Madeleine Hamilton and freshman Sherry Li lost at No. 1, while sophomore Ree Ree Li and junior Hanna Yu went down at No. 2 to give the Big Green a 1-0 lead.

Yale bounced back at singles, where Yu put on another convincing performance at the top of the lineup. Her three-set win over Katherine Yau is her third in a row at No. 1. Sophomore Courtney Amos and freshman Caroline Lynch also took their matches to three sets, earning wins at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively. Ree Ree Li and Sherry Li had easier times at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively, where each won in two sets.

The Bulldogs will continue their campaign Sunday as they host No. 47 Harvard. With only two matches left, Yale will likely need to win out and see a loss from No. 58 Princeton, undefeated in Ivy play, if it hopes to claim a fourth consecutive Ivy League title.
