NEW HAVEN, Conn - The Yale women's tennis team has announced three recruits for the Class of 2022, putting together the 22nd best recruiting class in the nation according to tennisrecruiting.net. The Bulldogs will welcome five-star Jessie Gong, five-star Raissa Lou and three-star Kathy Wong.

Gong is from Bellevue, Wash. She is the No. 1 ranked recruit in Washington and in the Northwest region, as well as 63rd nationally.

Lou hails from Pittsford, N.Y.  She is the 34th best recruit nationally and the fourth best in New York state. She achieved a high ranking of fourth in 2016 according to Tennis RPI.

Wong is from San Diego, Calif., and is the 35th best recruit out of the Golden State.

Yale's recruiting class is the third-best in the Ivy League, just trailing Columbia (No. 3) and Harvard (No. 4) and setting the stage for the conference to thrive over the next four years.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Yale has had a top 25 recruiting class nationally and the ninth time in the past 10 years.
