HANOVER, NH- The Yale Women's tennis team is gearing up for a weekend trip to Hanover, N.H., to participate in the Big Green Invitational, hosted by Ivy League rivals Dartmouth. This will be the last official match play of the fall season for the Bulldogs. It also marks the first time the team will travel this year.

So far the season has been a success, with the team putting on impressive performances at the Bulldog Invitational and ITA Northeast Regionals. Samantha Martinelli picked up right where she left off, advancing to the quarterfinals of the ITA Regionals; she was joined by fellow sophomore, Caroline Dunleavy who is in her first season after transferring from Notre Dame.

Perhaps the most eye-opening aspect of the season thus far has been the Bulldogs' trio of first years; Jessie Gong, Raissa Lou and Kathy Wang have all been excellent, each recording a dominant victory at the Bulldog Invitational before advancing to the second round at the Northeast Regionals.

Play will begin Friday and conclude Sunday.
