HANOVER, N.H. - Yale finished up an overall successful weekend at the East Regionals Monday in Hanover. Janet Kim and Jessica Rhee, however, lost in the quarterfinals of the doubles bracket, and Kim dropped her Round of 16 match in the singles bracket.
Despite a successful run over the first three days of the tournament, Rhee and Kim just couldn't get it going against the No. 9-seeded team from Virginia Tech, Inga Beermann and J.J. Larson, falling 8-0. In the singles draw, Kim lost to Katarina Zoricic, the tournament's No. 3 seed, 6-1, 6-2 in the Round of 16.
