Two Bulldogs Qualify for Finals on Day Two of ECACs

PRINCETON, N.J. - On the second day of the ECAC Championships, two individuals and three relays competed. Junior Kate Grace and Senior Claudia Duncan qualified for Sunday's finals in their respective events, while others performed well in their last meet of the season.

Senior Claudia Duncan qualified for Sunday's finals in the 400-meter dash in a time of 54.78, giving her the sixth-fastest time of the day.

Junior Kate Grace finished in 2:05.65 in the 800-meter run – the best she has done all season – finishing right behind a Georgetown senior in her heat.

In the 4x100 meter relay, Yale finished in 47.88 got 17th place, with a team of freshman Adele Jackson-Gibson, Duncan, sophomore Emily Shulan and senior Faith Briggs.

The 4x400-meter relay team finished in 3:50.69 for 16th place, and the team was Duncan, freshman Allison Rue, Briggs and Grace.

The 4x800-meter relay team finished in 9:17.81 (23rd place), and the team consisted of freshman Nihal Kayali, freshman Caitlin Hudson, senior Alexandra Cadicamo and sophomore Madeline Adams.

On Sunday freshman Elizabeth Marvin will compete in the 3,000-meter run and Grace and Duncan will compete in the finals in their events. A schedule can be found here and results will be at
