GREENSOBORO, N.C. – On the final day of NCAA Regional Championships, sophomore Anne Lovelace qualified for nationals in a close race in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Senior Alexandra Cadicamo also competed in the 5,000-meter run.

Lovelace placed third in her heat to notch the last qualifying spot, edging Duke's Emily Schwitzer by only two-hundredeths of a second. Her time of 10:32.92 placed her 13th overall. The steeplechase was originally scheduled for Friday night but was postponed to Saturday due to inclement weather.
