PRINCETON, N.J. – After their top-eight performances at the ECAC Outdoor Championship this weekend, four Yale Bulldogs were selected as members of the All-East Team. Freshman Melissa Chapman, All-American senior Kate Grace, sophomore Nihal Kayali and sophomore Elizabeth Marvin were named All-East.

Grace and Kayali finished 1-2 in the 1,500-meter run on Sunday, claiming 18 of the Bulldogs' 23 points. Grace set a school record in the process, lowering her previous mark to 4:20.66. Kayali was right behind her, finishing in 4:21.94. Kayali is the second-fastest athlete in the event in school history.

Marvin placed sixth in the 5,000-meter run on Friday night. She ran a season-high 16:37.04, just three seconds behind Anna Corrigan of Virginia.

Chapman competed in the 3,000-meter run on Sunday afternoon. Her time of 9:37.16 was good for seventh place, just half a second off of her season-best time.

These four athletes combined for 23 points and 12th place out of over 60 teams. Duke captured both the men's and women's team titles.
