BOSTON - Four members of the Yale women's track and field team were selected to the All-East team after their performances at the 2012 ECAC Championship meet on Mar. 3-4. Athletes who placed in the top eight of their event were honored.

Three more Bulldogs earned the accolade on the second day of the meet. Junior Elizabeth Marvin earned a silver medal for her performance in the 3,000-meter run. She finished just a second behind the winner in 9:42.28. Freshman Kira Garry was fourth in the event in 9:45.87 after winning her heat to beat out several of the runners in the faster of two heats.

After wrapping up their indoor season in Boston, the Bulldogs will begin outdoor competition on Mar. 16-17 in Irvine, Calif. at the Anteater Invitational.
