Castille Takes Second on Day One at the Colonial Relays

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Yale ended the first day of competition with 29 points in sixth place Friday at the Colonial Relays, hosted by William and Mary at Cary Field. Katrina Castille was the highest placing Bulldog for the day. She was second in the 100 (12.04) and third in the 200 (24.93)

Yale had a strong showing in the 800-meter run. Meredith Leenhouts, Kathryn Schleckser and Stephany Reaves were fourth (2:13.98), sixth (2:14.65) and eighth (2:15.48). In the 1,500-meter run, Lindsay Donaldson was sixth with a time of 4:27.46.

Katherine Dlesk was fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.01.

Competition will resume Saturday afternoon.
