June 11, 2005
Sacramento, CA - Freshman Lindsay Donaldson brought Yale's 2004-05 season of intercollegiate competition to a dramatic conclusion Saturday night, earning All-America honors with a sixth-place finish in the 5000m run at the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
Donaldson's time of 16:45.83 placed her in the middle of a pack at the 4-8 spots that all finished within four seconds of each other. West Virginia's Megan Metcalfe finished first (16:31.88).
Donaldson's performance earned the Bulldogs three points. The Yale women were one of only three Ivy League teams to earn points at the meet.
