Patricia Melton '82 Receives NCAA Silver Anniversary Award

ORLANDO, Fla. - Former Yale track & field standout Patricia Melton '82 was presented with the 2007 NCAA Silver Anniversary Award on Sunday. Mark Young '68, Yale's Director of Cross Country and Track & Field, presented Melton with the award at the NCAA Honors Celebration during the annual NCAA Convention. The award has been presented annually since 1973 to former student-athletes whose collegiate careers ended 25 years ago and who have gone on to excel in their chosen professions.
