Bulldogs Ready for NCAA Regionals

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Bulldogs are competing this weekend at the University of Floria in the 2007 NCAA East Regional Track and Field Championship. Yale was 27th last year with 7 points earned by Lindsay Donaldson (5,000-meter run) and Molly Lederman (pole vault).
A number of outstanding athletes will be representing Yale at the meet and the following is a recap of a few of their achievements to date:
Elizabeth Calle (3,000-meter steeplechase), Jr., Danbury, CT
Fourth all-time at Yale in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:48.45)
Won Harvard-Yale
Ninth at Heps in the 3,000-meter steeplechase
Erica Davis (Discus Throw), Sr., Columbus, NJ
Played basketball in the winter
Yale record holder in the discus (52.27 meters)
Yale record holder in the shot put outdoors (14.31 meters)
Second in the discus at Heps
Heps champ in the shot put
Lindsay Donaldson (Discus Throw), Jr., Lincoln, MA
Four time All-American
19th last year at NCAAs in the 5,000-meter run
Third all-time at Yale in the 5,000-meter run
Second in the 3,000-meter run at Heps
Ashley Nolet (Pole Vault), Sr., Lowell, MA
Heps champ in the pole vault
Second all-time at Yale in the pole vault (3.85 meters)
