2003: McAlearney, who had her season cut short to an injury, saw action in 12 matches and 18 games. She recorded a season-high six kills and 11 digs in the season opener against Marist on Sep. 13. She had four kills, seven digs and two block assists in a win at Wagner.
2002: In 34 games as a sophomore, McAlearney recorded 75 kills, 46 digs and 10 service aces. She had 13 kills versus Princeton and tallied 19 digs at Dartmouth.
2001: McAlearney appeared in 66 games as a freshman, recording 174 kills and 114 digs. She was named Ivy League Rookie of the week after helping the Bulldogs defeat Dartmouth and Harvard.
Before Yale: A four-year starter at Redlands, McAlearney led her team to two league championships and state playoff appearances all four years. A team MVP for four years, McAlearney earned all-league honors three years running and during her senior year was team captain, all-county and all-league MVP. A member of the Golden West Nike 18's club team, McAlearney competed in the junior national championships over the summer.
