Six Bulldogs Post at Least One Block Assist in Victory

University Park, Pa. -- Mollie Rogers delivered a match-high 12 kills and Yale tied a season-high with 10 total blocks in a sweep of Albany on Saturday afternoon. 

The scores of the match were 25-20, 25-15 and 25-18.  Yale won its fourth straight and improved to 6-2 on the season.  

Rogers also hit .324 on 34 swings and collected seven digs.  Maddie Rudnick and Kelly Johnson both had 12 digs, and Brittani Steinberg added nine for Yale.  

McHaney Carter led the team with one solo block and four block assists, and also contributed eight kills without an error on 17 swings to hit .471.  Six Bulldogs collected at least one block assist.

Jesse Ebner had seven kills, a solo block and three block assists, while Johnson added a solo block and two block assists.  

Yale will face No. 1 Penn State at 8 p.m. tonight.
