Attar Delivers 16 Kills and 19 Digs in Loss to New Hampshire

Kathryn Attar had a team-high 16 kills and 19 digs in a 3-1 loss to New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon in Kingston, R.I.

Attar, the reigning Ivy League Rookie of the Year, hit .378 for the match with only two errors in 37 swings.  The scores of the match were 22-25, 25-14, 25-21 and 25-19.

Gray Malias and Kate Swanson both had 13 digs, while Frances Arnautou had 10 digs.  Arnautou also had 38 assists.

Playing in her fourth collegiate match, Samantha Bray had a season-high nine kills and hit .316 with a block assist.  Bray has averaged 2.43 kills and hit .306 in seven sets this season.

The Bulldogs (4-1) hit .412 in their first-set victory. Yale returns to action at 7 p.m. tonight to face Rhode Island.
