Bulldogs Hit Over .300 in Sweep of Dartmouth

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Playing their first home match in over a month, the Bulldogs swept Dartmouth on Friday night at the John J. Lee Amphitheater.

The scores of the match were 25-19, 25-19 and 25-19.  With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 5-1 in league and remained tied for first place in the Ivy standings.

Yale (11-4, 5-1 Ivy) hit .305 for the match, including a .343 clip in the first set en route to its fourth straight win at home to start the season.  Ellis DeJardin led the way for Yale with 12 kills, Samantha Bray smashed 10 kills and hit .389.

Frances Arnautou served up 39 assists with five kills and no attack errors.  Kathryn Attar and Kelley Wirth had eight kills each.  

The Bulldogs host Harvard tomorrow at 5 p.m. The match will promote breast cancer research awareness through the Side-Out Foundation's "Dig Pink" program.
