Bulldogs Finish Strong, Beat Harvard 3-0

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Frances Arnautou dished out a season-best 44 assists in a three-set match and added nine digs in a road sweep of Harvard on Friday evening.  With the win, Yale maintained their lead in the standings and extended its win streak to eight matches.  

The scores of the match were 25-18, 25-17 and 25-20.  The Bulldogs (16-4, 10-1 Ivy) hit .351 in the final set to finish off the match in three sets  Kelley Wirth led the way with 14 kills and hit .387, while Ellis DeJardin had 10 kills and hit .533.

Kathryn Attar added 10 kills on 22 swings.  Yale closed out the match by scoring nine of the final 12 points in the third set.  Kate Swanson led the way with 13 digs for Yale, which held a 41-29 edge in the match. 

Yale closes out the road portion of its Ivy schedule at Dartmouth.  First serve is set for 5 p.m.
