The Yale women's cross country team has officially concluded its season, as junior Andrea Masterson raced individually in the NCAA National Championships. She finished 146th in a field of over 200 runners. Masterson, who improved nearly 50 spots from last year's finish, clocked a time of 21:03 over the 6 kilometer race.
This race finishes off a remarkable season for Masterson. She was the top scorer for the Bulldogs throughout the season, was the runner-up in the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship, and placed in the top ten for the Northeast region. She finishes her season with All-Ivy honors and All-Region honors. In Coach Amy Gosztyla's words "Andrea capped her season with a tremendous effort against the best in the country. The best is yet to come for her!"
The Bulldogs will now transition to the indoor track season, with the opening meet happening on December 9th at Coxe Cage.
