Women's Cross Country Places Second at Iona Meet of Champions

With 119 team points, the women's cross country team finished second at the Iona Meet of Champions held in Bronx, New York.

Yale's Melissa Donais was the Bulldog's fastest runner on the day, finishing with a time of 22:14.4, good for 9th place among the collegiate runners.

Yale's other top finishers included Cara Kiernan with a time of 22:27.6 in 13th place, Rebecca Hunter in 29th with a time of 23:04.8, Nadia Sawicki in 31st at 23:06.9, and Alex Sawicki in 37th place with a time of 23:13.1.

Princeton University easily won the meet with just 26 team points, but the Bulldogs placed well above the third place finishers from Pittsburgh with 181 points.
