Women Take Seventh Place at New England Championships

The women's cross country team ran well in the New England Cross Country Championships Saturday, earning seventh overall in a field of 45 teams. Yale's Lindsay Donaldson was the fourth place finisher out of 302 compeititors.
Donaldson ran a 5:43 pace on the track, finishing in 17:47 to earn fourth place. Following her for Yale was captain Anne Martin, who came in 44th overall with a time of 19:00.
Lauren Davis ran the race in 19:04, putting her in 52nd overall, and Ingrid Sproll finished in 19:18. Katie Dewitt earned a 19:19 finish.
Vanessa Mazandi and Jaclyn Myers rounded out Yale's entrants, coming in with times of 19:32 and 19:40, respectively.
The Elis are ranked third in the US Cross Country Coaches Association's regional Northeast poll, and recieved several votes in the national poll.
Yale will compete in the NCAA Pre-Nationals next weekend.
