Elis Take 15th at New Englands

The Yale women's cross country team sat out its best runners for the 2005 New England Cross Country Championships but still captured 15th place with 407 points at Franklin Park.

Yale head coach Mark Young's team was resting it's top 10 for the upcoming NCAA pre-national event and was able to get some of the younger runners into a varsity competition.

Freshman Kelli Buck was the top Bulldog runner at Boston with an 18:51 for 36th place over the 5K course. Junior Jaclyn Myers (19:13, 56th) and Ingrid Sproll (19:31, 85th) were close behind.
