Barbara Chesler Barbara Chesler, a Senior Associate Athletic Director came to Yale University in 1985. She has been responsible for many aspects of Yale's 35 intercollegiate sports program, capital projects and facilities. Barbara, an avid supporter of Title IX, cultivated the first Yale endowment (WISER – Women Intercollegiate Sports Endowment and Resource) exclusively benefitting women's athletics. She was the driving force in the development of Bulldog Sustainability and Yale Athletics' Community Rowing Program Throughout her tenure Barbara has served on various University, Ivy League, and NCAA committees. Additionally she is active in the New Haven community serving on the advisory and grants review committees of the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven's Women and Girls Fund. Recognized for her leadership abilities, she was the recipient of the ECAC’s Katherine Ley Award in 2007 and the Girl Scouts of Connecticut Women of Achievement Award in 2011. |

Diana Madson, Coordinator Diana Madson is a Master of Environmental Management student at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Diana's graduate work looks at opportunities for climate change planning in Western mountain resort communities. Originally from Sacramento, California, Diana attended U.C. Berkeley as an undergraduate earning a B.S. in Environmental Science, Policy & Management and a B.A. in Rhetoric. As Coordinator of Bulldog Sustainability, Diana works with the team of undergraduate assistants to acheive the Athletic Department's sustainability goals. In addition to managing the Bulldog Sustainability team, Diana leads Bulldog Sustainability's strategic planning and aids in fundraising.

Emily Schuckert, Research Assistant Emily Schuckert is a junior in Trumbull College from Wilmington, Delaware. She is majoring in Environmental Engineering Sciences and is a member of the varsity field hockey team. Emily is also a Yale Student Ambassador, a member of the Kiphuth Leadership Academy, and Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She is particularly interested in renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency. As a volunteer for Bulldog Sustainability, Emily is currently researching how the athletic shuttles might benefit from running on biofuels, like the rest of the buses on campus. She is also interested in the plans for renovating Coxe Cage Field House and what can be done to make the building more efficient. |

Mary Beth Barham, Research Assistant Mary Beth Barham is a senior in Jonathan Edwards College from Fairfax, Virginia. She is majoring in environmental studies and is a member of the varsity field hockey team. She is also a member of Athletes in Action and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Mary Beth recently spent the summer in Northern Spain learning Spanish, and hopes to continue to travel abroad in the future and learn about international environmental efforts. She is currently working on the "Boola" Campaign to advertise and promote eco-friendly practices within the Yale community, a recycling effort, and a "Bike to the Bowl" event.

Emily Billing, Research Assistant Emily Billing is a senior in Branford College from Clearwater, Florida. She is majoring in environmental studies and is a member of the varsity women's sailing team, and used to be on the U.S. Olympic Sailing Team! Emily’s interest in athletics motivates some of her other pursuits, such as the Bulldog Buddies program, where student-athletes volunteer and tutor at a local elementary school. She also loves to see athletic programs changing their ways to help save the environment, which is why she is looking forward to working with the athletics department to help make varsity, club, and recreational programs at Yale more environmentally friendly. She is currently working to convert the Yale Corinthian Yacht Club to solar power.

Kirby Zdrill, Research Assistant Kirby Zdrill is a senior in Ezra Stiles College from Alberta, Canada. He is majoring in psychology and is a member of the varsity lacrosse team. Kirby wishes to help make Yale a greener place. In high school, he was one of the presidents of the Eco Team and doubled as the mascot, Eco-Man (embarrassing pictures available upon request). He plans on pursuing a career in marketing upon graduation, and would like to use such skills to help raise awareness for environmental issues. In his free time, he can be found relaxing in his apartment or tearing up the Intramural Hockey scene as one of Stiles' co-captains. |

Emily Rutland, Research Assistant Emily Rutland is a sophomore in Berkeley College from Madison, New Jersey. She is majoring in English and is a member of the varsity lacrosse team. She is also a leader for the Freshman Outdoor Orientation Trips (FOOT). Emily hopes to incorporate sustainability into her future career, and is looking forward to making Yale athletics more sustainable. She is currently working to improve recycling in Yale's various athletic facilities.

Brandon Blaesser, Research Assistant Brandon is a sophomore in Calhoun College from Weston, Massachusetts. He is majoring in economics and environmental studies and is a member of the varsity lightweight crew team. He is also a Student Tech and a member of the Yale Historical Society. He has worked as an Energy Sustainability Intern at WinnDevelopment in Boston. He also has LEED AP BD+C credentials, and hopes to work in energy investment and management one day.

Ben Joseph, Research Assistant Ben is a sophomore in Silliman College from Gainesville, Florida. He is majoring in American Studies and is a member of the varsity baseball team. He also enjoys listening to music, riding his bike, and surfing. In Florida, he co-founded his high school recycling team. He plans to play baseball as long as possible, and then move on to the business side of sports to work in sports marketing or player development.

Victoria Balta Victoria is a junior in Timothy Dwight College from Valencia, California. She is majoring in Environmental Studies and is a member of the varsity softball team. She also enjoys listening to music and playing the cello and viola. She has previously worked for the L.A. Department of Public Health in their Environmental Health sector. She hopes to work in environmental law and policy someday, hopefully doing international law. |

Yetunde Meroe Yetunde is freshmen in Morse College from Accra, Ghana. She hopes to major in Chemical Engineering and is a member of the Yale Women's Club Rugby team. She also works at the Afro-American Cultural Center and act as the financial coordinator for the Yale Undergraduate Association for African Peace and Development. Yetunde hopes to be able to return to Ghana not only to make a difference in Ghana's industrial sector, but also encourage Ghana's industrial sector to become more environmentally friendly. |

Chris Bowman, Research Assistant Chris is a freshman in Branford College from Carlsbad, California. He is on the pre-med track and plans to major in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Chris is an active member of the Yale Student Environmental Coalition, and teaches environmental science to local public school students via the Environmental Educators group. Outside of his environmental involvement, he runs almost every day and is a member of Yale’s new Archery Club. |

Gabriel Roy Liguori, Research Assistant Gabriel is a freshman in Trumbull College from Belmont, Massachusetts. He is considering a double major in Economics and Environmental Studies and is a member of the varsity lightweight crew team. Gabriel is excited to work on environmental issues at Yale, and in his future, he would love to work with the environment, and is considering a career in environmental consulting. |
