Kyle Schack

Kyle Schack joined the Yale coaching staff in the spring of 2017.
 
During his tenure, both the men’s and women’s programs have enjoyed tremendous success with the women posting a 67-9 overall dual-meet record and a 46-9 Ivy League mark, while the men are 44-24 overall and 33-23 in Ivy meets.
 
As a member of Henry's staff, he has contributed to remarkable program growth and success. In 2026, the team produced seven NCAA Qualifiers, three All-American Honorable Mentions, six Ivy League Champion titles, seven All-Ivy Second Team honorees, fourteen team records, and eight pool records — culminating in the Men's Ivy League Career High Point and the Men's Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year Award.

The 2025 season was equally historic, highlighted by a twentieth-place finish at the Men's NCAA Championships, eight NCAA Qualifiers, one First Team All-American and two All-American Honorable Mentions, the Women's Ivy League Career High Point Award, eight Ivy League Champion titles, six All-Ivy Second Team honorees, eighteen team records, and seven pool records.

In 2024, the program sent six athletes to the Olympic Trials and two to NCAAs, while earning four All-Ivy Second Team honors, seven team records, and five pool records.
 
Schack has a wealth of experience coaching collegiate swimmers.  Getting his start as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Texas in 2007, he was the assistant coach at Arizona State University and the associate head coach at Northwestern University before joining Crimson Aquatics Boston as the head coach in 2012. In five years at the helm of Crimson Aquatics Boston, Schack coached multiple athletes to the USA National Junior Team, FINA World Junior Championships and also a top-eight finalist at the US Olympic Trials.
