Nov. 5, 2004

Five different skaters tallied goals and Sean Samuel made 24 saves as the Dartmouth men's hockey team skated past visiting Yale 5-2 at Thompson Arena. Yale junior Christian Jensen and freshman Blair Yaworski lit the lamp for the Bulldogs while Josh Gartner made 45 saves in a losing effort.

The Elis, who fell to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in ECACHL play, were outshot 50-26, while Gartner needed 18 saves in the opening frame to keep Yale in the contest.

Jensen's goal just 1:23 into the game gave the Blue its only lead of the night at 1-0. The puck came off the Big Green goalie and surprisingly found Jensen's stick. The standout junior, who tallied his first goal of the year, quickly fired a high shot past Samuel to stun the home team.

Yaworski, who hit the net the second time this season, scored on an assist from Jean-Francois Boucher at 12:07 of the second to cut the Dartmouth lead to 3-2.
