Princeton, New Jersey - The Yale Women's tennis team won the second round of the ECAC Division I Women's Indoor Championship on Saturday, defeating the Harvard Crimson by 6-1. On Friday, the No. 2 seeded Bulldogs defeated No. 7 Columbia 6-1.
Yale started off strong against the Crimson, capturing all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point. In singles, Yale also posted excellent results, sweeping the No. 2 – No. 6 spots to earn five more points, to secure victory over the Crimson.
The Bulldogs will compete in the Championships at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday against the winner of the No. 1 Princeton vs. No. 5 Brown matchup. The Bulldogs have won two consecutive ECAC Championships, and will look to add a third title to their repertoire on Sunday.
