No. 5 Bulldogs Roll No. 13 Brown Ahead of Crucial Harvard Match

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — In its final tune-up before Friday's match against No. 6 Harvard, Yale took care of business against No. 13 Brown in an 8-0 win at the Brady Squash Center.

Brown (5-6, 0-5 Ivy) pushed Yale to four games in two of the top three matchups, but the hosts sailed through the rest of the lineup on their way to comfortable win. The victory was Yale's fourth consecutive Ivy League win since the Bulldogs opened conference play with a loss at No. 3 Columbia, and the team's fifth win in a row overall.

The Friday night clash with Harvard, in addition to carrying the usual weight of the historic rivalry, will also play a pivotal role in both team's championship hopes. With a victory, Yale remains in the picture for a share of the league title; a loss with the proper results elsewhere could instead seal the Ivy championship for the Crimson. The action will begin at 6:00 p.m, and those not in Cambridge can follow along on the Ivy League Digital Network.
