NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Bulldogs took care of business in the first of two Ivy League matches this weekend, handing No. 12 Cornell an 8-1 loss on Saturday at the Brady Squash Center.
In a strong team effort, Yale (3-0, 2-0 Ivy) took six of the nine matches by 3-0 margins, including five of the top six. The Bulldogs' only loss came in the ninth spot.
Yale's second conference win comes ahead of a Sunday matchup with No. 5 Columbia. The battle with the Lions promises to be a close contest — when the teams met at the Ivy Scrimmages, the Bulldogs pulled out a 5-4 win.
The two top-five teams will meet at 12:00 p.m.
