PRINCETON, N.J.—The No. 8 Yale men's squash team faltered in a match against No. 7 Princeton on Sunday, losing with a final score of 8-1.
The Bulldogs, whose record now sits at 5-2 overall and 1-2 in the Ivy League, did not go down without a fight in their seventh consecutive away match.
Five of the eight matches dropped by the Bulldogs were composed of four or more games. The Bulldogs' effort forced Princeton to work hard for each individual point.
Yale will not return to the court until next Sunday, Jan. 21, when they are set to take on No. 6 Rochester and No. 3 St. Lawrence in back-to-back away matches.
