Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Bulldogs hit .500 for match and extended their win streak to five matches in a 3-0 win over Brown on Saturday evening.
The scores of the match were 25-16, 25-6 and 25-17. With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 7-1 in the Ivy League and 13-4 overall.
Yale had only three attack errors over the final two sets, including a .706 clip as a team in the second set with only one error on 17 swings. The Bulldogs followed that up with a .562 hitting percentage in the final set. Samantha Bray had 10 kills on 16 swings without an error and hit .625. Bray added four blocks to help the Bulldogs to a 9-1 edge in total team blocks.
Ellis DeJardin, the reigning three-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week, had 10 kills, eight digs, a service ace and a solo block. Frances Arnautou had 30 assists, six digs, five blocks and one ace. Yale also held a 36-20 advantage in digs, including 15 from Kate Swanson.
Yale returns to action on Friday to host Princeton at 6 p.m. The Bulldogs and Tigers are tied for first place in the Ivy standings and the match wil be nationally televised on ESPNU.
