Box Score HAMDEN, Conn. -- The Yale women's hockey team had its three-game win streak against the Bobcats snapped in a 2-0 loss at Quinnipiac (2-4-2) on Saturday. Tera Hofmann stopped 40 shots in net for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs (0-2-0) shut out the Bobcats in their last three meetings, but could not get on the board in their first matchup this season.
Quinnipiac gained the scoring advantage on a Kenzie Lancaster goal in the first period and added on with a Kati Tabin wrist shot in the third.
The Elis look to turn it around next weekend in their opening homestand against Cornell and Colgate.
