Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Bulldogs swept Penn on Saturday evening, extended their win streak to seven and improved to 8-0 at home this season. The scores of the match were 25-21, 25-17 and 25-22.
With the win, Yale maintained its lead in the conference standings with four matches left to play. The Bulldogs are now 15-4 overall and 9-1 in Ivy League play.
First-year Samantha Bray, the reigning Ivy Rookie of the Week winner, had 11 kills on 18 swings with only one error to hit .556 for the match. It was her third straight match with at least 10 kills. Yale held a 45-38 edge in digs, led by Kate Swanson who had 15. Kathryn Attar had 10 and Frances Arnautou had nine.
After playing their last five matches at home, the Bulldogs return to the road next weekend with matches at Harvard and Dartmouth.
