Bulldogs Trip Up Late Against RPI

The Yale women's hockey team came up short in a 2-1 loss to RPI on Saturday after Jordan Chancellor's second goal in two days tied the game late in the third.

Trailing 1-0 with 2:15 left in regulation, Chancellor was set up by sophomore forward Greta Skarzynski and senior defenseman Julia Yetman. Skarzynski notched her second helper in as many days.

With 28 seconds left in the third, RPI's Blake Orosz put away the winning goal to give the Engineers the 2-1 decision.

The Bulldogs are back in action next weekend against ninth-ranked St. Lawrence and third-ranked Clarkson at Ingalls.
