Yale Falls to BC

SYRACUSE, NY - The Bulldogs, looking to rebound after the ECAC Championships, ran into a hot Boston College team and were unable to come away with the win, falling 7-0 to the Eagles (4-3) and fell to 3-4 on the season. 

The Bulldogs kept the matches close, with Samantha Martinelli dropping two tight sets, 7-5, 6-3.  Valerie Shklover also dropped a tight first set 7-5 against BC's No. 2 Kylie Wilcox before losing the second set 6-1. Amy Yang played it close as well, losing the second set in a tiebreak to drop the match. 

Doubles were also tightly contested, but the team was unable to steal the doubles point. Martinelli & Shklover fell 6-3 before the rest of the matches ended early.  

Yale will look to get back on track tomorrow against the home team, starting play against Syracuse at 11:00 AM.
