ESPN+).
BULLDOGS FALL AT PENN
Yale (4-10, 1-4 Ivy League) suffered another close loss last time out, falling 4-2 at Penn. The Bulldogs were tied with the Quakers 2-2 entering the fourth quarter thanks to goals by first year forward

Alissa Wong (West Vancouver, B.C.). But the Quakers scored twice in the final frame to claim the win. Eight of Yale's 10 losses have been by either two goals or one goal.
OFFENSE SURPASSES PAST SEASON
With 32 goals this season, Yale has already surpassed its total from last season (31). The Bulldogs have improved their goals-per-game average by 26 percent compared to 2018 (1.82 to 2.29).
IMPROVED SCORING DEPTH
The Bulldogs have three players with at least 15 points this season:
That is tied for the most 15+ point scorers Yale has had in a season since 2013. Yale also had three players with at least 15 points in 2017.
TERROSO AMONG NATIONAL LEADERS
Junior goalkeeper
Sydney Terroso (York, Pa.) is eighth in the nation in saves per game (6.36). She has 89 saves for the season, and her career high is 120 (2017). Her single-game high this season is 16, set at No. 7 Princeton Oct. 4.
SCOUTING COLUMBIA
Columbia (7-7, 3-2 Ivy League) has played three straight one-goal games, winning two of them. Last year the Bulldogs beat the Lions 2-1 in a shootout, with sophomore back
Katie Pieterse (Ridgefield, Conn.) scoring the game-winner.
SCOUTING MERRIMACK
Merrimack (2-13, 1-4 NEC) is in its first season as a Division I program, coming off a 2018 season in which the Warriors went 18-4 and advanced to the first round of the NCAA Division II Championship. Goalie Katharina Ohmen, a second team All-American last season, has a .782 save percentage.
