PRINCETON, N.J. – For the fourth-straight week, the Yale offense went over 40 points while its defense put forth and impressive performance as the Bulldogs earned a pivotal win at No. 18/19 Princeton, 51-14. The 37-point margin of victory ties for the largest number in the 142 matchups, tying a mark set in 1931. The Elis were led by senior quarterback
Kurt Rawlings who threw a career high and Yale single-game record, six touchdowns.
In a matchup of two teams with identical 7-1 records and 4-1 marks in Ivy League play, the Bulldogs struck first with a field goal and led 3-0 after the first quarter. Both teams added touchdowns to start the second stanza, but the Elis scored totaled four second quarter touchdowns including two in the final 90 seconds to take a 30-7 lead into the half and remained in control through the second.
Rawlings continues his All-America campaign by continuing to break Yale records. In addition to single-game high in touchdowns he now owns the single-season record with 24 TD passes.
"Princeton has a great team, and a great quarterback and we knew we had to play our best and tackle well. We did that. We got some stops and turned a short field into points," said head coach

With Yale's win over Princeton and Dartmouth's loss to Cornell on Saturday, both teams are 8-1 and 5-1 in league play and will have a shot at the Ivy League Championship next weekend.
Rawlings finished the game 22-of-34 for 338 yards and six scores as he utilized the most dynamic receiving duo in Yale history.
Seniors
Reed Klubnik and
JP Shohfi each caught at least seven balls, 100 yards and two touchdowns.
Klubnik finished his day with seven catches, 107 yards and three scores. His second catch of the game was a historic one as he passed Ralph Plumb '05 to become Yale's all-time leading receiver, besting his mark of 2,396 yards. Klubnik now stands first all-time with 2,503 receiving yards.
Klubnik was not the only Yale player to pass Plumb however as Shohfi also flew past the mark as he finished the day with eight catches, 141 yards and two scores. It was his fourth-straight game with at least 140 yards receiving and he now ranks second all-time at Yale with 2,398 yards.
While the Yale offense was rolling all game, just as impressive was a defensive unit that limited Princeton to just 277 yards of total offense and only two scores.
Senior linebacker
Ryan Burke led the charge with eight tackles, five solo stops and one for loss. The defensive unit posted seven tackles for loss, two sacks, a forced fumble and a diving interception by sophomore
Kyle Ellis.
The Bulldogs play their final contest of the year next Saturday, November 23, in the 136 iteration of the "The Game" against Harvard at noon on ESPNU.
