Yale Game Notes
The Bulldogs are home for a key conference set this weekend with the North Country teams coming down for 7 p.m. games airing live on ESPN+. St. Lawrence is at Ingalls Rink on Friday followed by No. 9 Clarkson on Saturday.
BULLDOGS
Yale won its first game and lost the next five, including home decisions last weekend with Dartmouth and Harvard.
Tyler Welsh,
Dante Palecco and
Justin Pearson found the net against the Big Green, while
Mitchell Smith scored the goal against the Crimson. Defenseman
Jack St. Ivany tops the squad with four points; forward
Curtis Hall has a team-high three goals.
Corbin Kaczperski had the decisions in the Yale goal both nights last week. The Elis go from an ECAC set this weekend to Tuesday's game at Boston College.
SLU SAINTS
Keenan Suthers and Ted McGeen scored goals last weekend but SLU lost both games on its trip to Colgate and Cornell. The Saints (3-8-1, 1-3-0), who are led in scoring by sophomore Zach Risteau (5-9-14) have wins against Union, Mercyhurst and Bentley. Emil Zetterquist and Francis Boisvert were in goal on last week's road trip but head coach Brent Brekke a trio of netminders with equal games played.
CLARKSON KNIGHTS
Casey Jones and his Knights are off to a great start and bring an 8-3-1 mark to Brown on Friday. Clarkson, which has road wins over Michigan and Wisconsin, had a four-game win streak end at Cornell last Friday before bouncing back with a win at Colgate. Devin Brosseau (5-12-17) leads the team in points while Frank Marotte (1.91, .935) has all the decisions in net.

SERIES
Since the first meeting in 1951-52, SLU holds a 60-37-11 advantage over the Elis. In a series that dates to 1929-30, the Golden Knights have a 76-39-7 lead vs. Yale.
