YALE GAME NOTES
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Bulldogs step out of conference play for the first time with a midweek contest at Chestnut Hill, Mass. Yale (2-6-0, 2-6-0 ECAC) takes on No. 12/14 Boston College (7-4-0, 5-2-0 HE) at Conte Forum on Tuesday at 7 p.m. on CBS All Access.
BULLDOGS
Curtis Hall had two goals and Yale also had scoring from Dante Palecco, Tyler Welsh, Luke Stevens, Kevin O'Neil and Chandler Lindstrand last weekend in a conference split at home with SLU and No. 9 Clarkson. The Elis beat the Saints 6-3 in a game that included three empty-net tallies and 21 saves from Nicholas MacNab, who was making his first career start in net. MacNab stopped 30 shots the next night but the Knights grabbed a 4-1 win.
BC EAGLES
No. 14 Boston College is on a five-game win streak and is coming off a sweep at Vermont on Nov. 15-16. The Eagles have a dozen NHL draft picks including leading scorer David Cotton (5-10-15, CAR) and goalie Spencer Knight (1.91, .936, FLA). BC's roller coaster start to 2019-20 included four straight losses before the current win streak.
SERIES
The Eagles have a 43-11-1 advantage in a series that dates to 1921-22. The only tie was the last meeting, a 3-3 OT draw at Conte on Jan. 4, 2013. Yale went on to win the national championship that season.
