The other Nutmeg contest includes No. 10 University of Minnesota-Duluth against the Bobcats at 4 p.m. The winners (4 p.m.) and losers (1 p.m.) square off against each other on Saturday. Only the games involving the home team will be streamed.
BULLDOGS
Yale (5-4-0, 3-3-0 ECAC) jumped out to a 3-0 start that improved to five wins in six games before getting tougher challenges in league play. The Elis try to snap a three-game skid when they face the Huskies Friday. The young Yale squad is led offensively by rookie
Elle Hartje (5-6-11) and sophomore
Emma Seitz (3-7-10), while sophomore
Claire Dalton (2-7-9) and first-year
Grace Lee (5-3-8) have also made early season contributions. Senior
Tera Hofmann and junior
Gianna Meloni have most of the work between the pipes.
UCONN
The Huskies (8-5-1, 5-3-1 HE) are 4-1-1 over their last six, coming off a split with Boston College last weekend.
