Yale Game Notes
The Bulldogs are back in regular season action in 2020 with a non-conference matchup in the White Mountain State. Yale takes on the University of New Hampshire in the Whittemore Center on Friday night at 7 in a game airing live on NESN.
BULLDOGS
Yale returned from its holiday break to beat McGill 4-1 at home on Dec. 29 with two goals from
Will D'Orsi and tallies from
Luke Stevens and
Robbie DeMontis, who played in just his second game of the year after an injury in the opener. The goalies,
Corbin Kaczperski and
Nicholas MacNab, split time against McGill and helped the Elis cruise to victory.
UNH
The Wildcats (8-8-1, 4-5-0 HE) came back from the break with a loss at Army on Dec. 29. UNH was outscored 2-0 in the final period of a 5-4 decision against the Black Knights. Four different Cats found the net while Mike Robinson made 18 saves.
SERIES
UNH has a 18-13-1 advantage in the series with Yale after the squads skated to a 5-5 OT draw last year at Durham.
Robbie DeMontis hit the net twice for the Bulldogs against the Wilcats in the tie. The first game of the series was in 1928.
