Bulldogs Blanks UMass 7-0

Four Straight Set Singles Victories

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team completed a weekend sweep with a 7-0 victory over UMass on Sunday at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs won four of the six singles matches in straight sets, including a 7-5, 6-1 victory by Samantha Martinelli at No. 1 singles. Raissa Lou, Jessie Gong and Amy Yang were also straight set winners.

In doubles, Martinelli and Lou and Caroline Dunleavy and Gong were winners.

The Bulldogs kick off Ivy League play at Brown next Saturday.
